Instagram Analytics windows application

Hi guys,
I'm a french junior developer and I own a small instagram account (6k followers) that I'm growing since February using my iMacros bots.
It's always hard to find a free Instagram Analytics website, you need to pay a monthly subscription which is very annoying.
I'm also learning WPF and I need a good project to be motivated and code something I like, so I was thinking about coding a windows application to get statistics from your instagram account. And of course share it to the community because I learnt so much from this forum.

I was thinking of :
-Number of followers
-Following
-Medias
-Average likes per pic
-Average comment per pic
-Average engagement
-What pic is the most successfull
-...
-What else ?

Would you be interested by this kind of program ?


And for the coders here, is it possible to do it ? I need to check instagram API and how everything works.

I can easily make this program and I have had this idea for quite a while (to make an Instagram analytics software rather than website), but I never realized it.

When you create this software please take in account that there are already Analytics application out there like paid: iconosquare.com, make sure to make it much better than the current solutions, and you may have something that a lot of people would be interested in. Also take a look at there API, they are now reviewing all software and apps before they will give you an active key, I believe.
 
Provide something that the other people don't provide, get creative with it!

I would say it's definitely very possible to create your own analytics app for Instagram. Regarding your question about their APIs, I'd recommend you begin the application process as early as possible so that you're not stuck waiting around for your app to get approved.

It took my app, ChompSocial, almost three weeks with 3 separate application submissions before Chomp was finally approved for all the APIs.
 
Just an idea: Can it add multiple accounts as clickable tabs so it's not necessary to login in every account separately.
