I have a new account. Posted 2 video about a BMW E60 M5 V10.
Needless to say, both videos blow up, gathering around 1 million views.
Those reels bring me a lot of engagement daily, but whenever I post anything else which is not related in any way with BMW, the videos BARELY get 800 views.
It seems like the algorithm stuck me in a position where the only way to grow is to post the same content as the one who blew up.

How to fix this? I want to change the account, I don't wanna use it for automotive purposes.

The Algo put you in that niche and recommends you for account watching this type of content, so one way would be to interact more with people in the niche you want to reach and also keep posting that other type of content, with what could be viral, until some popup.

Not sure you're reasoning but it sounds like you should lean into what's working

Why do you want to change it? Keep posting what blows up, use another account for other purposes you simple have?

Try to post mix content little by little maybe can mix your audience or create another account with the content you want.

Get reposted constantly by a bigger account with active engagement in the niche that you want to be in. Instagram will rearrange the matrix of interests to suit your new engagements.

The BMW M5 E60 V10 - the correct word order - is a really one-of a kind car, with not much content of it. Naturally it blows up

The content on the account is adjusted to the explore page. This is good since the content posted on that page is locating an audience who views it.

If your goal is speed → new account.
If you’re patient → gradual pivot works, but expect a dip first.
