Also, I would take everything said there with several grains of salt. Public articles like this are always focused on creating the vibe of (everything is perfectly est up for everyone to have a equal chance, work hard and you will make it!) Its bullshit. IG does some things that are kept under the rug to manage the algo. It isn't all as simple and clean as they make it sound.
For example, they say IG doesn't do anything and that the only way to improve is to post great content. What a disgustingly politically correct statement. Yes great content is king but there are many other factors at play. IF that was true, why does IG only let my story reach the hashtag story once per hashtag? Why do all my videos get
way more impressions from the explore page than photos? Why do I have way more organic reach at each +10k followers? They didn't even mention how IG looks at how fast people like your posts... They know what the fuck they are doing.
