Instagram Algorithm Changes

I'm decently new to IG but right now I am almost 100% sure that they changed their algorithm. My proof/drive

Engagement dropped overnight
Stopped ranking for a keyword at the top
Lost 200 likes per pic

I'll start tracking clicks on my bio to find out how many clicks I'll get when I start selling

Everyone lost engagement m8, I was really wondering if it's not because of banned hashtags use but since a lot of people are complaining I don't think the problem is from banned #.

I would say just get used to it, it's not the end of the world.

not the end but i had a 40% engagament rate and now it's dropping

Post HQ, engage, return likes and comments, reply to comments. Rinse and repeat.

Read about an online magazine that went bust, and left 100 people out of work, because they were relying on Facebook posts. Due to FB algorith, lost tons of engagement, and after 30-60 days had to shutter their doors. More sites reporting this...

I was doing these already! These changes happened in the beginning of the year

Happened to me also.

Just archived all my content and I’m starting over.
I WAS gaining 1500 followers a month, been stuck at 8200 since November.

It’s not the end of the world. But it sucks cause I’m trying to sell art.

You're not the only one. Bots are super strict too. Keep getting blocks on likes and follows no matter how many proxies we try...
