All sounds correct based on my understanding of their gradual move to "pay for reach"

I'm most interested in your comments surrounding bots. What is the basis of your summation?

I can't imagine insta not knowing about bots already considering even when you run a bot mon-friday for 8 hours during working day there is NO human that likes things and follow every 20/30 secs.

Why do you feel they will pull the plug now on instagram bots?

The main thing is this. IG knows that thousands of people use bots; this is reflected by their never ending pursuit of shutting them down, a lot of big ones have been hit over the past few years.

I'm in contact with a social media agency founder that has actually sat down with some Instagram development team members at a tech conference and they've confirmed that they know of bot use. Their algorithm is intended to weed them out. Hench the reason why aggressive bot use is basically account suicide.

They want natural, organic use of their platform by real humans. They don't want us "gaming" the system by utilizing like/engagement groups, botting, etc. After all, social media is supposed to connect real people, right?
