Instagram Algo Update?

Anyone else noticed a drop in gained followers/impressions the last 4 days? I almost feel IG is messing/testing with the algo again.

I have an account over 500,000 followers and my impressions have dropped along with the amount of followers gained. The number of followers lost per day have stayed relatively the same.

I have also checked other high following accounts and there's a pattern. It seemed to start on Saturday.

Thoughts?

It seems to be Instagram is cracking down on bots/botters and thus resulting lots of account getting banned or terminated. Doubt it has to do with the Instagram Algorithm.
 
I was thinking that too, but it doesn't explain the lower impressions/reach.
 
Good to see my accounts are not getting banned, custom software goes a long way. I don't have any big Accounts, but my accounts are gaining at the same rate daily for the past week with growing engagements. Might not be able to see what your seeing with 500k Follower page, but my pages are not losing engagement or amount of followers.

What is your following range? Because when I pulled data, it was the larger accounts being effected.
 
Engagement will fall as bots get kicked. Who else do you think do liking so that you follow them?

Also, many are at the end of their license with MP, and don't have an alternative to have their accounts (bots) do the usual engagement.

And, Instagram is messing with the way Followliker scrapes users, thus affecting your engagement even more. FL has done 2 updates within 1 week.
The latest update today, did not work too well, as I've personally noticed many accounts were not able to scrape correctly.

And lastly, it's summer, hot, and many got better things to do than click and like our posts on Instagram.

But, apart from that, it's just normal!
 
I believe that the fall in activity in the IG is good. Instagram cleaned from bots. Skilled people are leaving him. Accordingly, there is less competition and a cleaner audience
