Its just so hard to manage 20 accounts by yourself while growing/keeping them active and selling ads.

I'd probably say follow the advice of people saying monetize them, a lot of people are working hard to get a good following it's just a case of learning to make money from them.
Assuming your following aren't fake accounts check how good your engagement is on them and see what competitors are doing to make money.
