Instagram Ads

Hey everyone!

It's been a hot minute since I've been on here. So I have an eCommerce store with an IG of 10.4k followers. Those followers....not as active as I'd like them to be. I'm using FL on a daily basis, but have a budget I set for IG ads.

So far, I've ran about 6-7 ads (24 hours) and I haven't received nearly enough engagement. I know it's not the content, because I only put out quality content (both pictures and videos).

I think my main issue is the audience. I'm not creating a specific audience and the "wrong" people are seeing the ads. My goals with these ads are to 1) Create exposure for my page and 2) Direct people to the site for sales.

I've seen ads for similar niches with similar content that results with 1300k+ comments. How do I get the perfect audience?

Have you tried using hashtags? Try using hashtag generators and see the top hashtags in your niche. Encourage engagement and follow accounts who appear to be interested in your niche. Be consistent in your posts (both quality and schedule) but limit the number of your posts, too, so as not to bombard your followers. -Micah

Hey Micah, thanks for the reply! I always use the most popular hashtags in my niche, and it works great when I actually post. My only downfall here is the Instagram ads. I feel like I'm not targeting the right people. I get a lot of impressions, but no engagement. I know people are extremely successful in the ads by the audience they create, but it's a matter of putting together the right interests.

Have you tried following accounts that seem to have interest in your posts? Seems like you're doing some pretty good strategies right there, but the engagement really is a problem. -Micah

Yes sir! I've been using FL to follow similar niche accounts followers, comments, and likes. I've been making good follow gains (20-30 per day), but the engagement is still low. That's why I'm trying to "take the easy way out" with setting a budget for a Instagram campaign.

I've found facebook ads are wayyyyy better. Also you should be using facebook ads manager to create your audience if you arent. Not instagram.
