Instagram Accounts Vanished Last Night

Hey,

Quite a few IG accounts seem to have vanished out of thin air last night for quite a few people, with "this username does not exist" when trying to log in. There does not seem to be a common denominator with any of these accounts, except perhaps all had good organic growth daily.

Accounts impacted that I know of so far had followings from 5k to one million. Yes, one fucking million.

• None of them were using automation such as like, comment or follow/unfollow.
• Some had links in their bio, others did not.
• All but one were not using any sort of like/comment exchanges, including "rounds" or DM groups.
• A couple did not give appropriate credit, but most did.
• Some uploaded their own content, others curated content.

There does not seem to be a common theme among the accounts, except that all had really good organic growth.

I'm hoping this is some sort of glitch, because even though it's within IG's right to delete accounts at whim, it's extremely unethical to do so without even sending an email to the affected parties to say, "hey, we disabled your account because of <x> and <y>".

You should get an automated response asking you to send in a selfie with a code written on a piece of paper. Do so immediately. If you were botting, do not mention whatsoever that you did so. If they accuse you of such, say you were hacked. Almost everyone has had success with this, problem is it takes 2 to 5 days to get your account back, which can be damaging to your growth once you do get your account back.

Did you contact IG about this? because, isn't it possible that the account are hacked and that the hacker changed the username? That way the account as you know it, doesn't exist anymore.

Facebook wiped out thousands of accounts as well, we can't figure it out yet

Seems related to the announced updates IG released earlier.
Although the vanishing of real white hat accounts makes no sense at all...

Yes man. My account was disabled recently too. I did use the automation for quite a while but nothing happened until now.

Not sure about the black hat accounts, but it seems the white hat accounts just suddenly reappeared this morning. Without a peep from Instagram or Facebook. Kind of shitty if you ask me, even though it's good that people have gotten their accounts back.
