I saw many big pages this week getting hacked?
How do they do this and how can I secure me?
That's what happens when you input your credentials on sites/apps you should not use!!!!!!!!111111111111
/edit: damn, caps lock didn't work here, I played myself
dnt enter your logins into any website or place through apps
most big accounts use that hack technique to grow an account faster, then they say they got their account back, lol. bullshit, they just do it mostly to grow a new account.
if they - in fact - got really hacked then they probably weren't meant to run those big accounts.
they then argue they stole their username and suddenly they got it back thanks to XYZ, it's all promotion, don't always believe in everything you hear or read.
The accounts I saw hacked last week dropped 10-20k followers. So I doubt it was fake.
I think it was more than a coincidence so much hacking happened all at the same time.
As mentioned above, maybe a third party website got hacked and lost a load of passwords?
I would change your password regularly and make it unique to everything else you use...
Instagram has a new feature "Two-Factore Authentication" when you activate this, each time you log in it sends a security code to your Phone Number , without that code you cant login.
A claim not to register on third-party websites is rational. And this is the reason why.
Two-factor authentication is being gradually introduce by instagram and it's a great option.
My instagram account was hacked. Yes, I back my account again, but I'm still curious how I was hacked? My email is not hacked, my phone is clean from virus and my pc too.. I do not log in with my instagram details anywhere except on my phone and my pc.
