So my friend is selling me his account. I have the username and password but I want to make sure that he can't go back and change these using the email he registered with. I know when I change the email it notifies him that the email has been changed and you can secure the account. Any ideas on how to avoid this?

Is he your friend or not? You should not be worried about his if he was indeed your friend.

He is my friend but I don't trust him that much as the account has a big followingg

He is selling the account to you. so just change the email and do the same again maybe that will help.

Don't know haven't gone in this type of situation

if you need just his username change it and register it with your email, If his acc is big ask him for his email or buy it from him, if you know where he is living don't worry about nothing if he mess with you take your baseball bat and destory his assh**

My advice is , do NOT purchase accounts , even with username and password and after you change email , the user are still able to retrieve the old e-mail back. Do not purchase accounts unless you really know the person you are purchasing from.
