Instagram Account disappeared!

    Well, this is quite shocking as well as strange. Just had an insta account with 14k followers on it.
    Today morning I tried to login and it told "Incorrect password", still I tried to reset it with username/email but it didn't work. It popped up a message that "Account not found", I tried to search on insta with other account also tried to make a account with same username so it told that "Username already taken"

    Now I don't know what I should do, there's no other instagram help for such problem too.
    Anyone experienced the same?

    If you can't access your account by instagram.com/my_username, yet it's taken; you've been banned.
    That's it. I feel sorry for you.

    First of all, contact Instagram support, they might help you. If you haven't posted anything illegal or done anything that might've violated terms of service, then your account could've been deleted automatically. Such Instagram purges happen once or twice a year. People lose their accounts and go nuts. In these cases Instagram support will often tell you that they can't do anything, but of course they can.

    You still have a chance of getting it back, if Gods of Instagram decide to be in your favor

    Contacted it, but still no response from over 12hours.
    Isn't it strange, I have 5 other accounts still never happened something like this.

    First of all there is no proper support from them, and what is this glitch of removing accounts?

    No I am not, but still I should be able to retrieve the login details using email right?

    You dont know the userid of the account?
    Then you could check if it existed but maybe with a new username.
    But its prob banned.

    Welcome to the world of pain. Instagram support isn't good at all.
    I can't tell you much, all I know is that users can get banned by Instagram's automatic whatever system. Sometimes for botting, sometimes because of being reported, sometimes for nothing.

    you should be able to log in. But if the fella that nipped you has found a way to insert a different mail,then it would be a bye-bye insta account. I hope it's not the latter.

    You know, I have almost created 250+ images and now this shit happened. -_-
    Instagram is sucking lately.

    They will ask you snap a freaking photo with your face and username and their given code.

    Sent them within minutes, took them 1 whole week to reply and give me back the access to the account.

    Worry not, you can still get it back but it's a little time consuming given how poor their support is.

    UPDATE: Now my personal Account is also having the same error, although it was deactivated by me, now I tried to login and got to see this again :/
    They have screwed me up :(

    Every account has a different "Phone" for it.

    Why did you put "phone" in quotation marks? Are these accounts on a regular phone?

    Yes, I got a message about account being suspended which prompted me to email the customer service. Forget the exact wordings though.
