Hi everyone,
I recently bought aged instagram accounts 2-3 years old. And I changed the profile picture, username and name and posted some stuff and started running meta ads for an instagram post after 2-3 hours but the accounts gets disabled after 24 hours. It happens for every account I tried. Should I work with newly created accounts? I need to change the username and name to my online stores name I can't run ads without changing it.

Well you need a proper warm up and instead of buying make them by yourself. handcrafted are best, aged are myth.
 
I heard that happen to someone else too last week, they had an established account with about 20k followers and did changes like you it in a short period of time. Are you on the same IP(location) and or device as the other accounts you lost , they ID you by that. I know you have to do slow changes and behave like a real person, since they have AI running everything there now.
 
Proper warm-up matters more than buying aged accounts. Handcrafted ones usually last longer and perform better.
 
This is happening because Meta’s automated systems flag accounts as risky when aged accounts suddenly change identity (name, username, profile, etc.) and immediately start running ads. That pattern often looks like account takeovers or farming activity to their system, so the accounts get auto-disabled.

Newly created accounts probably won’t fix it either. You’ll usually get better stability by warming the accounts first with normal activity, gradual profile changes, and some organic engagement, then waiting a bit before running ads instead of launching them within hours of making changes.

This is because you're making too many drastic changes too quickly and after jsut few hrs you already ran campaigns. I highly suggest you warm up after the changes give atleast more than 24 hrs before running ads.
 
Accounts get auto-disabled when they have uncertain history, plus rapid identity changes, and start running ads immediately. You should use clean and new account and build activity gradually.
 
That’s too much too fast. Even if the accounts are old, changing everything and running ads right away looks risky. IG treats it like a new account.
Don’t switch to new accounts. Old ones are better, just go slower. Change things, wait a bit, then run ads later.
 
This usually happens when Instagram flags sudden activity changes on aged accounts, especially profile edits followed quickly by ads. Try warming the accounts up for a few days first with normal activity before making major changes or running campaigns
 
When you first purchase an account and log in, changing your IP address, username, and profile picture can easily attract attention for impersonation, leading to your account being banned.
 
You changed too many things too fast and Meta sees that as hijacked account behavior.
Aged accounts need warming up first with normal activity before ads and big profile edits. New accounts can work too but rushing ads on day one gets flagged the same way.

Sounds more like a trust/risk issue than an age issue. A lot of aged IG accounts already have hidden flags/history attached to them, especially if they were previously used from different devices, countries, or niches.

Changing everything at once (username, display name, profile pic, posting immediately, then launching ads within a few hours) probably looks very high-risk to Meta’s systems. Even aged accounts usually need a “warm-up” period now.

From what people report lately, safer approach is usually:
• Let the account sit and behave normally for a few days
• Gradual profile edits instead of all at once
• Normal browsing/activity before ads
• Use consistent IP/device/location
• Add real-looking activity and engagement first
• Delay ad spend until the account establishes trust again

New accounts can work too, but they often have stricter ad limitations early on. The main issue is usually sudden behavior changes + instant ad activity rather than account age itself.
 
you’re tripping too many signals at once. name change, pic change, posting, ads in few hours looks sus. aged acc loses its history fast. slow it down, warm first few days, then touch ads later

seems like you should wait a few days before changing up things
 
New accounts are even easier to take down. The problem arises from changing your information too frequently, which arouses suspicion. You should use an anti-detect browser, a clean proxy, keep the account active and change information gradually to avoid being scanned by AI before launching a campaign.
 
I am wondering if a foreigner can sign up instagram, and what to do if later it asks for ID government to verify your account?

Does instagram have geo location things?
 
Your problem might not just be speed. It could be the accounts themselves. A lot of those 2 3 year old accounts you buy have been resold over and over. IG already flagged them as suspicious long ago. No matter how slow you go, the moment you change the name or run ads, the system just kills them.

Dont change anything at first. Log in with a clean residential proxy and an antidetect profile, but use cookie login, not password. Ask the seller for the cookies file. Import that into your profile. IG will think you're the original owner continuing to use the account. Much higher trust.
