Instagram Account Compromised

Hello Guys, my main Account was compromised by Instagram this morning because a other account where I did f/uf and likes got banned until the 8th of Feb,
but why is my Main Avv compromised where I never botted the last years? Same IP I guess.
I cant reset my password. It wont send me a Mail. Should I wait for 24h or even 1 week?

What do you think?

Compromised as in what exactly? Did your main account receive an infraction or ban as a result of the other botted account running on the same IP?

Yes right, my personal account got the ban, because of my botting account did to many actions.. now my personal account is compromised and my botting account is action blocked. never had this berfore.
 
Not compromised, from your writing in this thread, it seems the accounts are suspended, if temporarily suspended, then appeal and if permanently suspended, then say "bye, bye" and move on.

I know what you are talking about as I have experienced it before.

You must have kept the botted and non-botted on the same IP/Device hence this happened.

Always keep Non botted accounts on different devices and also if possible keep them on 4G/5G sim card internet so they are always safe.
 
If you've been on your other accounts with the same IP that you use to access the main, then yeah. That's probably it. Best case scenario, you might be able to get it back, try and contact support about the recovery for your personal account. Realistically though, I think it's best you consider starting over now.
 
Have you tried contacting support? I would do so, pretending that I do not understand what is going on and asking to unlock my account. How can they know the second account is yours, maybe it's your neighbour's, who you are sharing wifi with lol
 
Listen, go to IG from the browser, Click on Forgot Password? Then go to you mail and check the message, reset your password and take care of your account.
 
It can happen if accounts are connected. best to use different ip with no fingerprint browser

you left matching clue and so they did it, next time try to isolate all possible things starting with IP address.

UPDATE:

Those were some headaches I had the last few days. I had to change my smartphone and I had to remove my phone number from another account so that my banned account alone has that number since IG stopped sending out mails. As a next step I had to reset my password (all on another device with the SIM) -> there came the code and I could reset it. On the other smartphone, not even Captcha went through. But now I have the account back and let all 3 accounts cool down for some days.

Instagram was able to track the two accounts because you used the same IP for them. I hope that you recover your account successfully.

Good call also stop abusing your IP address, you probably had you old device blacklisted by instagram.
 
What email? because some emails like yahoo & rambler are flagged, you won't get an email.

That's a nightmare man
 
You must have botted from the same ip and you got the ban because of this. You should use proxies to bot the secondary accounts and it will not compromise your main account.
