Instagram acc promo?

Basically Im attempting to get into the insta game but im confused when it comes to account promotion. ive already bought shoutouts and mass followed but havent seen much as far as results. i mean how does one even get to 100k, 500k, 1mil, etc. it almost seems impossible. maybe im not int the best niche or maybe the way my account/posts are setup isnt the best way. not really sure what the problem is. any help would be greatly appreciated. sorry if these are stupid questions im sorta new here

if you do shout-outs on other accounts you need to give people a reason to follow you. Its not enough to post a cool picture and say "pls follow @laferg", for example you can run giveaways that requires people to follow you in order to participate

no that doesn't work, would just bring shitty lq followers that would never interact or unfollow when its over

Shoutouts are ok, but first you need to give a reason to follow you when people land on your instagram profile.
Set a good profile pic and a decent eye-catching bio description. Don't forget to research your content, must be original and unique!

You must be able to establish your account, first. You have to fix your feed, come up with high quality images and make sure that your account appears follow-worthy. That's where you can start.
