Instaget Follow Settings. Confused. HELP!!!!

in the follow tab it has an option to "unfollow everyone" or "unfollow who do not follow back (slow)" how is this different from the "looping" function in the basic settings tab?

If im just using the follow tab at what point does it unfollow people?
