I wanted to purchase instafire instagram bot so I googled for it. Of course luck has it I land on a very legit looking site. I purchased a copy for $150 through the paypal payment option they have on the site. 2 days go by and no license after repeated emails to the email provided on the site.

No one responds to the skype posted on the site. On the 3rd day after purchase I get an email from the scammer telling me to contact the email address of the real seller and ask him for a license.

I contacted him and he tells me the website I purchased from is a scam site.

If you're doing research on this forum about instafire like I was doing and you stumble on this thread. DO NOT BUY FROM instafirebot.com

Anyone have any tips on how I could get my money back? Since it's a digital product I believe paypal does not provide protection. Should I file a chargeback in the forum of unauthorized use of my account?

try you luck atleast paypal will know about it that he/she is scamming people.

Tell PP. when/if they tell you to wait x amount of days tell them your policy is to call fraud at your CC.

I don't like waiting while PP takes their sweet ass time.

Ouch man.
why would you pay 150 for a bot before coming here and reading?

I did read on here, I didn't see anywhere mentioned to avoid that site. That's why I made this thread so others who do searches wanting to buy it can be informed. I'm going to file a chargeback and call PayPal as well. Hopefully they will ban the scammers paypal account. I'll keep everyone updated in this thread.

If anyone wants to buy the real version of the bot. The actual site is here http://www.topsocialbot.com/home/8-instafire-.html he mentions on there to avoid the site I fell for. Too bad the scam site is raked number 1 for the keywords instafire bot.

i bought from naomi (instafirebot) didnt know this shit

Sad thing is that she was responsive on skype a while back than sudenly not go online anymore and rarely update the bot or emails.

That is the skype that is given on the scam site. Did you buy it from that website or directly from her through skype?

Even though it's a "Digital Product", I'd still file a charge back and explain to PayPal your situation and what you've found out about the seller. Tell them that you later found out that they're a scam site and they'll more than likely reimburse your funds.

You must contact paypal and take your money back

Geez! You must be the most gullible or unluckiest guy here. You just got ripped by a second guy after getting ripped by some other member from bhw.

The owner of that site is a Banned member here and has 2 banned accounts:

It always pays to due your RESEARCH BEFORE parting with any money.

It's the first time I ever came across a site that looks legit, has videos, and is clean looking, but is set up as a scam, who would of known. I did research on instafire on here before I decided to buy it, but there are no threads or mentions that say that website is a scam site. I figured if anything bad or shady was going on someone would of mentioned it on here already. Nothing here about that until this thread of course.

Anytime you buy software in the future you should 100% verify the site is legit, I never knew this type of scam was going around.

I called PayPal and gave them as much info as I could, they changed my chargeback from Unauthorized Payment, to Not Received. I gave them the real sellers website, and his PayPal email so they can see that he actually has legitimate transactions for the software.

The lady on the phone sounded like she really believed me and wanted to help. She took the money out of the scammers account and told me she doesn't expect to hear from them and I should be getting it back soon. I'm surprised the idiots left it in their account.

She said she will be forwarding everything I told her, all the info, links, and emails, to the fraud team, along with the full story. Hopefully they can figure this is a fraud. If for some reason they don't. I'm going to keep calling them and asking to speak to more competent people that can do something about it. The real seller of the application even mentions on his newest version to avoid that scam site.

The good news is the real seller is a really cool dude and he gave me a working license even though I didn't buy from him. When PayPal refunds me i'm going to of course send him the payment he deserves.

Most of the time, bots and stuff are fake and have viruses or have scams. I've never really tried doing those bots. Thanks for the heads up, though.

The Good News: The scammer shut his site down after the owner of instafirebot called paypal and verified he was being frauded.

The Bad News: PayPal has worthless scam protection and the scammer got to keep my money. They closed my dispute and awarded it in his favor, after I called them they said that the seller showed proof that he sent me software. What he showed them was a screen shot of the email he sent me, the fake email that gave me an invalid license number and told me to contact the real owner of instafire if I want a "license reset."

Even worse news: I called my bank and tried to file a chargeback, turns out they can only do chargebacks for transactions done through Credit or Debit cards, they can't do anything if the money was directly funded from your bank account. My paypal account is set up to be funded directly from my checking account.

The News Gets Worse: After calling PayPal again and trying to talk to a supervisor about the problem, the only thing they were willing to tell me is "they can't reopen a dispute once it's closed, under any condition" a worthless policy if you ask me.

A break down of the scam.

Scammer set up a very legit looking site for the product. It had screen shots, skype contact info, videos of how to use the application, it looked 100% legit.

Scammer gets site ranked number 1 for keywords of the product.

Scammer takes payments through paypal, and emails you a legit looking email with information about what needs to be installed in your system and says an update is being made to the program and it will be emailed to you within 2 days. (No doubt he uses this time to withdraw the funds out of his paypal account)

Scammer then emails you a fake email to use as proof in case you call file a dispute, he can show it to paypal, and they will side with him.

Paypal is too ignorant to understand how doe scam works/doesn't care/won't take the time to investigate it properly.

I also got a PM from another member on BHW that told me he bought the bot through that same site awhile back, but they sent him a working cracked version of the bot (that is no longer working now) that is why I think his paypal account didn't look like a scammers, because he had successful transactions in the account that didn't receive chargebacks because they buyers got the cracked version and thought it was legit.

Lesson's learned, due do diligence more throughly than you thought you had to, use your credit or debit cards to fund your paypal account instead of your bank accounts.

Thats why i still prefer to sign with a monthly subscription bot and not software bots that stops to work.

Would you be so kind as to share a legitimate monthly sub bot? I am yet to have heard of this type of Bot/Follow/Like approach.
Thank you so so SO much.

does anyone know what's new now that instafire is no more?

♥♥♥Used instafirebot before, doesn't work anymore.

Thats why i still prefer to sign with a monthly subscription bot and not software bots that stops to work.

Actually the bot worked for me, the girl even used TeamViewer to give support, gave / reseted license, updated the bot etc.

It was REALLY LEGIT LOOKING, dont know what happened.

Maybe Naomi and the programmer splited their partnership and she just vanished to not refund money. This site that is saying the instafirebot site is fake didnt have this, actually the site is embed on the bot, and im pretty sure the owner knew about the site. The way she was working before vanishing was pretty legit.

But well, now i have no more contact update or nothing, cool T_T
