the current AI is good but still a joke to make a real change but still usable but that ASI (Artificial Superintelligence) that can self improve is scary at the point were the need for a human to continue working will get thiner every time.

Source? I don't believe they can develop AGI that fast.
 
It is a question of when AGI will be achieved, not IF.
Some experts predict by 2027, others by 2029 and yet others by 2032.
Interestingly, Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, expects "human-level" AI in 1-2 years (around 2025-2026).
Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, believes AGI could be reached in 3-4 years (around 2027-2028)
So maybe Anthropic will reach AGI by 2026 and OpenAI by 2028?

I think AI is taking over everything now. But, AI cannot take over humanity. Logcally, AI is a tool created and controlled by humans, and it doesn't have the ability to act independently or have intentions.
