What a tool... When I get rich I will buy suisse gold bars, paint them black and stack them in my rented 3-room apartment. I will eat and drink good and when I die I will give it all away to charity.... OR I will re-brand my self: Pilot-Dotinfo, buy eastern-european women and play Modern warfare 3 all day.

Love the headline...the problem is unless he had cash stashed and
a friend with a safety deposit key to a bank on Argentina the Feds
froze every account before they even busted him.
Aren't all the people that paid him to post their ads just as culpable
as to the income (not the copyright issue directly)

That is really hard to say. The site is very large and some of the files are private. How do you reckon advertisers are able to check every file, let alone check every file's copyright status?

knowing that he went to jail over this I still would of done Just what he did. Maybe cover my tracks a lot better
I would of paid spammers to upload stuff you do it with your marketing with fiverr and most of services provided.
You all say Scale Do What you need to do for you and that's what he did he wanted a certain lifestyle and he went after it mad props to him. No I don't idealize him but get real he knew how to make money and I wouldn't hesitate a min to sit down with him and pick he brain.
In closing Kim dotcom was a true Hustla

Premium accounts+advertising. And they used to hold contests where a person would get a bonus if they make so many sales. And they would ban some accounts to keep more money. This guy was nothing more then a scammer. He scammed people before to increase the value of his shares and he was also caught selling stolen credit card numbers.
