I believe it will be presented in a way that will make people not see it as "insects".

I remember eating ants from the ground as a kid, wasn't too bad. I've also had grilled grasshoppers - they weren't that bad, though I'm not going out of my way to try them again today.

This is not a 2018 thing. It's a reoccurring trend that comes every once in a while and has failed every time.
