Inquiry by PayPal - Temporary Hold - Requires my action?

    You have received a payment that we believe may not have been authorised bythe PayPal account holder. Here are the details of the transaction we are investigating:

    Status:Waiting for Seller's Response.

    What Should I respond?

    have you sent the item or performed the service? if not then dont do or send. if you have then also conyact the buyer and ask them why there is an issue with their payment.

    to paypal the only response you can send is that you have performed your duty to the payment and everything has been done, if it has, and put it back in their court

    This happened me once and the buyer was logging in from a different IP/country. The dispute can be opened automatically by the system so talk to your buyer first.

    PayPal are assholes. They do these checks randomly, and it'll take weeks before it clears/gets refunded.

    Don't send the item out.

    They have once refunded legitimate non-suspicious purchases to my customers for no reason before.

    Just wait it out, tbh I used to bad mouth paypal quite a bit, but I've found that every time I've had an issue with them that if your straight forward and honest it will be resolved.

    They put a reserve on my account 3 months ago of 10% they hold each day because I had so much subscriptions linked to my account, I assume they wanted to protect their own ass incase of a mass refund request, its a little bit annoying but hey I have 4k in that reserve now and I just started getting it back on sunday :) its crap as they only give me the 10% they took 90 days ago today and then tomorrow the 10% from the 90 days before that and so on, pain in the ass but still nice to know i'll get 4k drip fed over the next 90 days, I still have to wait another 3 months before I can appeal to have it removed.

    A good thing pp did for me this week which i was shocked about is that I got reimbursed for 2 chargebacks some douche bag did back in March (he was banned from here too) tbh I never expected to get those back but it just shows that they do go out of thier way to resolve these things with the cc companies on your behalf so they aint all bad.

    Anyway just be straight up with them and they will see you right, the best way is to phone them!

    did the buyer bought any service from you? contact the buyer through email he sent the payment to you.

    Me too facing same problem from last 1 week .

    1 payment is stuck in review , i replied them that i provided

    service also i emailed buyer and no reply from buyer nor PP

    Paypal works great, the fees are a litle big, but for me is great ...
    when I buy something I usualy pay upfront because I aspect to receive the service as it was described, but you can find some guys that think they are smart and never deliver the work or to refund you.
    I have 3 transactions on hold now because some guys try to scamm me for 300$

    I had a similar case in the past and Paypal help me to get my money back and I hope that they will do the same now

    btw, I this that that 2 guys are members here and they sell social media services

    To save you hassle I would just refund the money if you haven't delivered the service or goods already.
