Hi guys. Quite a few great options for a Wordpress contingency option since I don't like
leaving the responsibility of it to any hosting provider.

Looking for an alternative contingency for my client sites and my own, thinking on...

- CodeGuard - the price is ok, and looks like the best option after BHW research and comparison charts from all backup services, but still asking myself if it'll be the best bang for my bucks

- BackUpBuddy - $193 one time fee or so I'll will get a developer unlimited license with plugin lifetime updates. Seen the nightmares before with "unlimited" and "lifetime" type of deals..so still makes me wonder

- UpdraftPlus --> developer license, $145 or so and looks like the best deal out of all 3

Ease of use, reliability and at least semi-automatic daily backups either automatically or at the push of a button...

Have any of the above tools been good to you, consistently? Perhaps you're using another reliable backup service with good competitive market value?

...thoughts guys?

Odd not to get a quick one on such a popular yearly topic, but just in case...I'll be going with CodeGuard. I think their service is
pretty up to par with the best ones. BackUpBuddy developer license would be ideal if you'll have numerous sites sites, which
becomes my second purchase soon for added tests as CodeGuard might become way expensive than it might need too with 10+ sites.

Doubt solved:p

I'm wondering the same, but I heard there were decent free alternatives, if anyone is familiar with free, reliable bckup options, or at least,. not so expensive, Im sure some of us would love to hear them

thanks in advance

On a final note Valdemar, your host might just have the "daily" or "weekly" options in a backup wizard. Eleven2, Hostgator
all those hosting companies have such option. Last time I checked, Eleven2 is backing up my most important
domains. Paid additional services would be ideal for important money makers, if not, I just said to myself 5
minutes doing manual backups, forwarding to FTP and external hard drive bi-weekly..done. That since
my hosting companies save everything nicely. Should be enough.
