I have a tube site with 800.000 indexed pages but i only receive homepage traffic from google. The video pages are nowhere in google search. Only in google video most are 1st page in google video.

Any ideas what this could be ?

Are your inner pages optimized for keywords and do they have backlinks and do they have views?

No only related videos and a swf player.
I added text in the footer but all video's have the same text now.
Is there a way to make the text unique for 300k videos?

Yes inner pages are optimized for keywords. They have also much views. but no backlinks. its difficult to create backlinks for 800k pages.

well, without any text or with same footer text, ofcourse your inner pages won't rank.
YT is having a field for video description with purpose, don't you think?

i don't think you can put correct description automatically on the videos.. just find a way to have some description added and probably tags

It's just about the on and off site SEO aspect.

Optimize your keywords tag and probably add some links to keywords that's not ranking.
