Hey,

I've been struggling with ranking inner pages lately. I've managed to get them on pages 2-3 but that's it, never on the first page (been like this the last 6 months+).

Probably takes some time yes, but I'd like to hear out what's your inner page backlinking strategy and is there something wrong with mine?

My link building consists of SAPE and PBN links. Anchors are mainly longtails containing the KW or synonym of it, 5-10% generic & 5-15% exact KW.

BTW, Is it okay to use brand as an anchor when linking to inner pages? I haven't done this but I'm curious, what's your opinion on that?

Thanks :)

Do you Silo your site? By doing that you can make sure that any links even to the home page will benefit the inner pages. Inner page linking can be handled exactly like any other linking to the home page. If you want to rank it, you just have to throw authority links at it.

I usually start by backlinking to category heads and the main lander, and then I hit the stubborn inner pages with a few links. With good interlinking (not necessarily siloing), you will accomplish a lot!

Link each website page with each other. Try to include the keyword in webpage address.
That helps a lot ...;)

Interlinking each page will add more value to your ranking techniques. In addition to that, keep building links to inner pages as well.

Interlinking your site's inner pages and throwing a good amount of links at whatever inner page you want to rank should work IMHO.

While building your site it is also good to use your interlinks. This will helps you effectively.
