Inkthemes ?

Hi Friends,

Is anyone using Inkthemes?

They have about 30 themes that look nice but their member ship is a little on the high side. (150 + 15 mth).
On the plus side they have some nice looking themes.

How do they compare with other companies (like solostream, Elegant, etc)?

They also sell 13 specific plugins---but i haven't figured out why they are needed.

Appreciate any input you can give on this company...!

I had purchased one of their themes some time back. Just take care to run their theme through the timthumb-vulnerability-scanner plugin... My site had a major hacking issue, and I believe that it was because I didn't knew about that plugin when it happened and the loophole that existed, maybe because of this one theme. It was the only theme used on my site that time, hence the suggestion. Of course, I cannot prove anything... But be cautious nonetheless. The plugin caught that theme though.

The other thing I noticed then was that the maker (I believe, he outsources most of the development), never responded to most of the negative remarks or complaints. He simply ignored my valid complaints and kept harping along with the goodsayers. I wouldn't like someone having that kind of attitude to be an important part of my site...

Are these inkthemes shared anywhere on BHW? I'd like to download it and check it out.

There are many free inkthemes pack found in google. Just search and you can find a ton.

Sorry for sounding like a noob, but I am one. What are these Ink Themes? How are they different to other themes?

They have some really nice themes, I think it is worth the money if you take your services professionally.
