Hi,

I'm kinda new in the affiliation, and I would like to understand what are the difference between affiliates, and affiliate marketers. Because I still not understand properly the differences between this two types :/

affiliates - if your website help sales amazon product that's affiliate site

affiliate marketers - a person who helps to sell products via affiliate links

There's no difference. Some people call them affiliates, other affiliate marketers. Both refer to the process called affiliate marketing, which is promoting other people's products or services for a commission.

How does "your website help sales amazon product" if not through affiliate links?

There is really no difference, affiliate marketeers are affiliates shortly. There are different types of them though, depending on their traffic source. So then you can divide affiliates by following groups: social media marketers, media buyers and webmasters. These are the main ones.

  • Social media marketers get traffic from social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Media buyers purchase traffic on traffic sources (ad networks and ad exchanges) like Exoclick, PopAds, Propeller, etc.
  • Webmasters are those that have their own blog or a website, so they get traffic to their website and then place ads directly there.

Hope it helps! :)
