Information about hosting servers

Hi,
I'm new on the website and i'm here to see if someone could give me some advices.
I was wondering what kind of servers use a website like "manyvids" and if you'd have some servers website to advice.

For a site like that I would Recommend at least a VPS server if not a Dedicated server.

we can definitely help you in setting up streaming servers. Server specs depends on the amount of traffic you are receiving every day. as a quick recommendation you can use this configuration

CPU: 2x Intel Xeon CPU E5-2420 1.90GHz
Ram : 32GB DDR3
DISK: 8 x 2TB SATA in Raid 5 ( for faster video streaming and low buffering)
Connection : 1Gbps
Bandwidth depends on your website traffic.
and if you are also converting lots of videos every day then I would recommend you to use one separate server for media conversion.

Cloud servers.
I suggest A2Hosting or Namecheap.

I can't use cloud hosting because i want to upload all the videos on the host and deliver a download link

I would def be going for a dedicated server and maybe a mid-sized hosting provider from Bhw that will give you good advise on the best setup.
