[Info] Ted link are not Indexable

Hi there,

I still see a lot of post with something like “Get AMAZING CRAZY DA 93 D0follow from TED”

Well, those profile links are not indexable as you can see if you search on Google—> inurl:"https://www.ted.com/profiles/”

No result on ted.com

And why? because this little line on ted.com profile page—>
<meta name="robots” content="noindex” />

So don’t fast your time on it boys

Too bad most people here didn't even bother to check on it. I shared some decent contextual links recently and always made sure they're indexable before I share them here.

Yeah, people usually don't check the META for noindex part or google if any are indexed.

Most profile links are set to noindex. That's why often they are useless.

Is this different to a no-follow link? Or is it the same principle? I read that no-follow links aren't entirely useless and can help (I assume with link diversity especially)?

Isn't not like unfollow, unfollow is like -> Google : " I see the link but i shouldn't follow it cuz site told me to"
Not indexable is Google = Stevie Wonder, can't see it at all
