In my shop most traffic comes to blog pages (how to... / best of...).
How to empower goods category pages instead, any suggestions?
(no SILO, please! Its done already).

Have, you considered on-page SEO?You should finda suitable place to link the other articles within the most visited info pages. It is easy to get links on info pages. Plus you can place the other content strategically on the sidebars.

link to these pages and try to drive the traffic into them,
suggest your product(s) as a solution for the problem for example
