.INFO domain name for a movies website

Hello,

I am willing to buy a .info domain for my movie website but i've been reading a lot of posts regarding them not being SEO friendly.

Basically, i have a lot of interest in making movies/tv streaming websites.

The website i want to make will be on auto-pilot either by using my custom scripts which i will develop specially for it or by using wordpress with some plugins.

So, what are your thoughts regarding this kind of website? Are these kind of websites SEO oriented or just run through the direct traffic.

Any kind of suggestions are welcome regarding the niche, domain, my strategy.

Google doesn't discriminate on TLD's. Unless we're talking ccTLD's like co.uk, .in, .de..etc. I don't think you're going to notice a ranking difference between COM, NET, ORG, INFO, BIZ..etc. It comes down to what kind of authority your domain has, not really what extension it is. If we're talking about ranking on sites like Google.de or Google.co.uk, then I would say it's a different ball game.

Search for your niche's top kw's. Do you see .info's at the top 10?
