Inflated Search Volume?

Hey guys, while doing keyword research I'm seeing inflated volume for some keywords. I know this because when I compare my old kws SV with what is showing up now, it is bizarre. All of this is coming straight from Google. Anyone else notice this? any idea what's going on? Looks like some sort of bug
