Infinite Redirect Loop

Was going to do a freelance job, so i am currently doing onpage SEO for the domain using Netpeak Checker, Raven SEO & Screaming Frog but netpeak and raven stated that this domain has endless/infinite redirect loop so it unables to crawl the domain to analyse its pages.

Anyone encounter this issue before? How to solve this?

Guess you'd better use netpeak spider not checker to crawl your website. Spider goes deep into the website structure to analyze all pages and checker just checks the urls you've specified.
And as for your issue, can you open the website in a browser? If it has a redirect loop, you won't be able. Did you try different User Agents, IPs? Based on my experience, it matters.
You can tell me the website address and I'll have a look.

Hi, thanks for replying. OK I will use it to check later. And I able to load the website

I agree if it is in an in infinite loop then the site won't be visible. It will take some time of 'loading and loading'. And then it will say 'time out.'

Go through the .htaccess file and look for two (or more) pages that redirect to each other.

Your tools should tell you where these redirects are?

Not really sure about it, i have used screaming frog to check
But the redirections are from Point A to B then Point B to B

Weird enough till i do not understand. And i did not request to access .htaccess file from my client since i thought of asking around here first. I have told him that his site unable to spidered by screaming frog nor netpeak spider, but he seems to doubt about it.

Yeah, I can see that your website main page with '/' redirects to itself making a redirect loop. You can select your url and click redirects button above the table and you'll get some more data. I also checked this site using SF and got the same.

Browsers try to show you as much as possible and they can kinda pass some rules on the website. However, search engine bots don't do like this and they can't access your website.
 
Infinite redirect loop means you have an error in redirect.

I.e i normally get it when i 301 redirect i.e http to https and again https to http.... it means you redirecting to one and the same page you redirect to seems redirected back.
The solution is to check your redirects in .htaccess and also in your cpanel. May be you did multiple redirects

I once had that problem and Google never indexed that site and i always wondered what was wrong, until i checked my cpanel and removed the redirect, Google began indexing my site. Basically it can screw you big time and you might never realize
 
yah, can be quite crazy, can happen in many ways, i think the other way it can happen is in the DNS.

If you tried to CNAME the naked domain or the root domain to somewhere screwy which somehow links back i suppose it can happen too...

Also if u are using wordpress, the "site address" and the "wordpress address" or something like that in the wp-config or in the admin panel, also can screw you... espy sometimes if u are not familiar with the DNS...
