Indirect link exchange question

Hey everyone,

I once saw someone mention that people with PBNs practice indirect link exchange. As I understood it works like this:

webmaster A and webmaster B each own a site of similar strength in their PBN

webmaster A links to B's OTHER site (other than PBN site)

webmaster B links A's OTHER site (other than PBN site)

I like the idea. If I could connect with several people like that I could technically make much more from my small PBN as I can post unlimited posts with links to other webmasters who would give links to my site from their PBNs for free for every post with links to their sites. I would get many more diversified IP links without paying more.

My question is: how do you arrange such deals? Is there a site or forum that connects people with PBNs (private secured blog network, NOT public)?

I am not ready to jump into this just yet, I just want to know.

what? did I say something that shouldn't be said? I am sure many must be doing this as it's very cost effective.
 
I don't think this is a good idea, as you must find someone with the your niche or something close to your niche. Its like asking your competitor lets have link exchange. I don't know if exchanging links with niches that are not similar with yours, but I don't know how much smart will that be.
My suggestion is to forget that idea as you are reviling you PBN to someone you really don't know and he can destroy you PBN if he wanted to. The risk are to high for that experiment.

Yes, this is the reason why I said I only want to know and am not looking for partners at the moment. BUT if you think about it it is no different than when you are buying PBN links here, because then you are also revealing your niche.

Its not the same. When you are buying PBN links for your niche the seller is not you competitor and they will not provide you a report.
The "PBN" that provide a report they are not true PBN they are guest posts.

I didn't know this, because I never bought PBN links. But being competitor is not necessary, he just needs to have a PBN with news type sites. You will only give him an idea of a new niche basically, which is bad enough. Anyway, thanks for your input.
 
Sure that's possible but I would also be cautious with this idea, if the guy blows it and gets his PBN nailed your whole PBN could also be at risk.

I'd avoid that method personally, try and build links another way.

True, true. I will hold off for a while. I spend so much time and effort finding these sites, not worth the risk for now.
 
You can alter this a bit and instead exchange blog posts with an owner of a micro niche or authority site in your niche as long as you have a PBN blog in their niche. That is what Spencer Haws did with his Best Survival Knife Guide niche site.
 
Exchanging PBN links with other sites owners is FINE as long as it's not just the 2 of you linking to each other. If each of you have links pointing to a variety of domains it's almost impossible you would get caught doing this.

In my scenario we don't link directly so I don't think it can be traced at all. That's why I am asking, because it's lucrative. You can have only one high PR domain for linking purposes but with this technique you can acquire tons of high PR links for free.
 
I have found a nice Facebook Group for this. It is called "Free PBN Links exchange".
It is completely free!
