I don't know if that village was real or a set.
But in India, there are many villages like that.

I too belong from a very small village, yes it's a village, not town, the road and houses are all made of mud.
There's almost no internet connection, the download speed is max 10 KB/sec.
But we moved to town many years ago for work but we visit regularly because our grandparents and many relatives stays there.
Here are few picture of my village.

And in fact, our family is the first one in our village area to get a pakka house, all thanks to IM :)

My father moved to town to earn some money as there are really very less opportunity to earn in a village area.
Later, when I started IM, after observing me 3-4 years when I started to make a good amount of money to run our entire family, my father quit his own job and joined me :)
Now we are both into IM.

Thanks bro those are really nice pictures and love it and awsme story

It is 10 years old movie. I still think about that and rang de basanti.

Those are some Beautiful Sights Mate..

Its true, that village is really very refreshing place.
The air and water and vegetables, all are really very fresh.
Not to mention very quite and peaceful as well.
For me it's the best place when I need to stress out.

Agreed love that place

Those pics are great, really brings home the fact that BHW is global and you can be dealing with people from all walks of life, all with the same goal. Fantastic.

Man... this is... so powerful motivation... THANKS!

i do not think that, that was a real village... anyhow there are many villages like that in india ;)

That is beautiful, man! . . . I love seeing success stories like this! :)

Man, I used to love Hindi movies. No disrespect to India but I started to question if I was racist after the rage that was caused when at LEAST 12 people all from India copy+paste my profile and gigs from Fiverr word for word at around the same time and repost them. Some of them reposted and changed a few words with worse (TERRIBLE) English, which added to my rage because buyers were eating it up. There is a positive, only 1 of them left a negative review so at least I made a one-time 4$ out of most of them. Too bad they drained all of my sales. Now I'm struggling to not hate a group of people and get out of the mindset that every single one is either a bad call center rep for Americans or running a scam online. Worst of all, I can't enjoy their cinema or music videos anymore.

That's Awesome dude , I would love if my dad would join me for IM-related stuff but that won't happen .
However China and India are on top of the list for places I will visit in the future .

she was not really into movies. She did that movie not as an attempt to get into movies. further she got married pretty soon after that movie :)

I was totally thinking the exact same thing. Sometimes it's hard to remember that not everyone is living in the same types of places - especially on a forum.

This is really very true.
And you guys know what, my whole village don't even know what is internet,
literally not even a single person except our family due to lack of education facilities.
I can never explain to them what Google is.
Everyone is living a simple yet enjoyable life.
In my village a person with $200 monthly income can feed his entire family. ( And there is literally zero bill for electricity and water )
It was really very good that my family got into town and I got to see the modern and educated and technology life.
Now our family is running a very small school and next month we are getting around 20 Computers ( which is a magical device according to them ) in the school to teach the basics to the kids of our village and introduce them to our tech world.
There are very less students in our school but we are encouraging every families in our area to educate their kids.
It's really very very hard to convince people who don't know the value of education.
But my parents are really very supportive all the time and I am also fully motivated all the time :)

Now this is inspirational. It's very easy to get high on success and look down on others, giving back is so important, and education pays back a million times over.

Here in the west you can go for months or years without speaking to a neighbour who may live a few feet away. Even trying to get people to recognise that their are those in need is a thankless task at times.
