Indian Hosting server questions.

I have few questions, i am not able to find exact answers through google search.

Ok if you have own real servers setup in India it will be easy to answer this question.

How you guys get bandwidth for your hosting company ? I know you can buy it from airtel, reliance and powergrid. I mean suppose i want to setup a server to host my file sharing site and i need at least 50 Tb Storage and enough bandwidth so my users can download files at good speed.

How i am going to get internet and all to setup this in India ? I am not technical guy but i keep thinking about these questions.

Any links for me to get idea how to setup all this. Dont tell me you can buy dedi server online and it will be cheap.

If you are using 50TB of bandwidth, what are your storage requirements? Additionally, when you say good speed; what speed do you mean by this? providers generally offer either 100Mbit or 1Gbit shared ports. Bandwidth pricing is quite expensive in India so you should post your budget too.

Your server can be hosted offshore in other, cheaper places and still offer similar download speed to your end users. If your intended use is not latency sensitive (like game servers or applications that require low latency) my best suggestion would be to use an offshore server with someone like SoYouStart, Online.net or OVH.

Bandwidth cost in India is very expensive, just a quick google search shows that 5TB bandwidth on 100mbps port with Intel E3-12xx CPU and up to 8GB Ram and few TB of HDD can cost you up to 10,000 INR which is approximate 149 USD and in this cost you can get server with unmetered Bandwidth in some good offshore location.

yes it is too expensive..

I would suggest you to contact some data centers that are located in Netherlands. They will cost you much lower than Indian companies.
