Please excuse my ignorence in this matter, if this is a stupid question...would this bank provide the same perks as an offshore bank? freelakotabank.com/ I appreciate any feed back you guys can give and hopefully this bank will be of interest to some of you at least...it is backed by silver as opposed to the typical fiat/central banks.

That page is fake. Why would a bank webpage have a ton of spelling errors. Stay clear of that site if you don't want to lose your money.

Ok so...thanks. I did some research and found this

" Dave Ridley is reporting that the Free Lakotah Bank is not affiliated with the Lakotah Republic movement and in fact according to this thread on their offical forum, it seems they are trying to distance themselves from the bank. My order of a one ounce silver coin from their website was canceled because their initial promotion had ended before my order was placed. I'm going to wait it out and see where this is going before I decide to do business with them again. There is some concern on some internet forums that the Free Lakota Bank is a scam or even a government sting operation. But there doesn't seem to be any evidence of that. From my experience they are just a little bit unprofessional. Like I said, I'm hesitant to try to do business with them again until I find out more."

    One person responded with this...

"Wow! Such haters here. The Free Lakota Bank is definitely real, not a scam. The silver, in case you haven't seen it, is probably the most beautiful rounds to come out in a LOOONG TIME. I have purchased over 500 ounces through them and will buy as much as I can in the future. Don't forget, YOU CAN SPEND THEIR SILVER AS $50 IN THEIR MERCHANT NETWORK! I just got a $130 a night hotel room for 2 silver rounds with this stuff"

"Are you guys insane? You can't tell this is a scam? I'll sell you 1 ounce silver coins for half that amount and keep them in my piggy bank until you want them back. You know why? Because you'd be overpaying for them still and I'd keep the difference. Think about it."

Honestly I have no idea...if this is a scam, sorry for telling my fine friends here at BHW about it...no deception intended...but, if there was a LEGIT bank operating on an indian reserve would it function like an offshore bank? technically its not in the states...
