India to regulate crypto

There was recent news that major Indian crypto exchanges owners were invited for a meeting with Indian government officials. WazirX confined this news. Hopefully , they are in talks regarding regulating crypto. New bill is already being prepared for it and if they are getting input from crypto community, it is a very good thing.

In 2018, when every body are panic after RBI notice to bank , not to accept crypto. I hold crypto and told all my friends that no need to panic. At that time Switzerland already regulated and USA also regulating the crypto. In future India will also regulate in near future because India follows USA almost. In 2021 government told that they are working on crypto regulation because govt knows this is future and this storm can't be stopped and also govt knows that By regulation govt can earn a lot by tax.

You are saying crypto is future but there is so much fraud is happening like squid coin. So who is going to control these frauds. How to know which coin is genuine and which is fraud. Please suggest
 
The Indian government would be stupid enough to ban crypto as there is so much to gain when it comes to taxes. I never understood why governments would ban crypto as they could do so much more with the tax money.

our present and past are equally full of fraud and tragedy, so i don't see how this prevents crypto from being the future. or you are going to tell me the current financial system full of inside trading and lobbying is squeaky clean?
 
Tbh, governments wanting to control crypto to me is very silly and shitty...
 
40% Taxes with additional taxes like goods & services and security transactions is just ridiculous lol, Got to know some laundering methods now all the Gov's are waiting to rip crypto investors off!
 
All countries will increasingly regulate crypto.

40% is it for any amount of crypto portfolio or for biggies

The saddest part is there are always players who misuse it & in the end someone has to tighten the grip.

My personal opinion it's a good thing as now we will have a clarity regarding the official national crypto policy.

Evading taxes is not a big issue we all know there are lots of ways to do it.

Now there is new twist that regualation might be delayed for some time.
