Is there a way to ping them or get the search engines to see them fast?

Yes there is...What i do is take the links in the success file post them in a blogspot blog as html then use the blogspot rss to and submit that rss to random places that way those links get indexed in 24hrs.

Two scripts - Backlink Booster and Backlink Indexer Express. They are both awesome.

Additionally, you can use html2rss or something similar to create an RSS feed from them and then submit the RSS feed to aggregators. You can also socially bookmark the RSS feed.
