Hi everyone,

I am presently working on a site which has 1260 pages indexed in Google and 9 pages indexed in Yahoo and 15 pages indexed in msn for this site.
What may be the possible reasons for this exclusion by msn and yahoo ? What measures can be taken for increasing the number of pages indexed by msn and yahoo?

Any suggestions?

links links links and more links

live/yahoo dont index as deeply as google, you have to give them good reason to do so, oh and get yourself a sitemap.xml

Another thing - make sure your site has a feed (if it's a regular site created in html you can create your own feed, look online for free programs to build your feed.) Then take the address of your feed (usually something like feed.xml or feed.rss) and you can login to free hotmail and yahoo accounts and dig around in the dashboard until you find the "subscribe to content/subscribe to feeds" area.

Subscribe to your OWN feed at both hotmail (which brings msn around ot index you) and yahoo.

my new site has about 100 recorded back links at google and yahoo, but mys site hasn't indexed by yahoo. i know google does deindexing, but how bout yahoo? does it ban?

I also have this problem with my autoblogs. Some have a few thousand on G but none on MSN. Others have MSN but no G.

So what I do is to find blogs with a lot of pages indexed in MSN and put links in the site for pages not indexed. Works most of the time.

great idea, i'll try and report if it works!
