Indexing Website Pages, Backlinks [METHOD]

I recently joined BHW and wanted to give back some of my methods and tricks to the community to see if I can help in any way.

A problem we all experience is indexing. Whether it be indexing core website pages quickly or indexing backlinks, finding a way to get links to stick is good fun.

Recently I was testing Web 2.0 Links and Blogspot Sites and discovered a method that seems obvious at first but works quite well. I thought I would share the method with the forum to see if I could help.

The veterans of BHW may have more effective methods, simply just sharing something that has worked for me.

Method ​

The method involves creating a blogspot site related to your niche and using the power of Low Competition Keywords along with cheap/AI Content.

The reason we use blogspot sites for this method is that they connect to Search Console on the connected google account without any verification methods needed. You can simply add the Blogspot URL to the connected search console account.

1) Create A Blogspot Website​

The first step is to create a blogspot website. Visit blogger.com and sign in with a Google Account. Then create a site either with your niche, keyword or brand name.

2) Setup Your Blogspot Website As A Real Site​

This step is important. We want the content on the site to appear in the SERP.

Go through your website and make sure to set your website meta title, description and any other details.

We don't want Google to think your site is spam, even if it is!

Make sure to enable Search Engine Visibility for your Blogspot Website too!

3) Attach Your Blogspot Website To Search Console​

Head over to GSC on the same Gmail Account that you have used for the Blogspot account. Add your Blogspot site URL and click verify.

Search Console will instantly verify your website as Blogspot is part of the Google Suite.

This method may work with other Web 2.0 Sites, but sites like WordPress often require HTML or DNS Verification and for simple link indexing, why bother?

4) Find A Low Competition Keyword​

Now that your Blogspot site is set up and ready to go, you need to find a Low Competition Keyword. This keyword should be related to your niche or topic but something you can rank for with ease.

If you can find something with a bit of search traffic then great, a few clicks through your links is only a good thing.

5) Create An Article On Your Blogspot Site With Your Low Competition Keyword​

Now that you have a keyword, you need to create an article for your Blogspot Site.

This article needs to be quality, just to help with the indexing. Also, include images and other elements of normal money site content.

Within your article, include sentences with anchor text to suit your links. I'm not here to explain your anchor text and what ratios you should use but make sure it varies.

6) Embed Your Links​

Go through the article and add your links. A nice scatter throughout the content should be ideal but don't overlink. Remember, you have the blogspot site set up now, just rinse and repeat for more links.

You can also send a link through to your main site here if you wish, won't do anything but can diversify your link profile slightly.

7) Post Your Article​

Once you have added your links and images, it's time to post your article on the blogspot.

Go to your blogspot site, add a new post and add your article. Format the content slightly, add a few images and you're well away!

A tip with the post is to add a location in the post editor. This can be done on the right-hand side. This helps with some location relevance and can often pick up a keyword in a location if not countrywide.

8) Submit Your Article In The Search Console​

Submit your article through Google Search Console. The process is as you would with a money site page.

I always enter the URL, test the page and then request indexing. I often find that pages get stuck in Crawlled But Not Indexing if I don't test first.

9) Distribution​

If you are eager to get the content indexed then distribution is key.

Send a few social signals or bookmarks to the Blogspot post to help along with indexing or simply wait. I usually see the content in the SERP within 48 hours.

Remember, you are looking for indexing, not a first-page ranking. As long as the content indexes, your backlinks should be seen too.

Results ​

Once your article is live and indexed, you should see some of your links trickle through into the index too. I've used this method a few times when links wouldn't index normally and they did begin showing.

Again, I do not promise this will feed your kids or buy you that Ferrari, it's simply something I've used and wanted to share.

I'm also aware that this may raise mixed opinions but it might be useful for somebody that doesn't have a budget for higher-quality links, guest posts etc.

Created a post on Blogspot Site, requested indexing and saw the backlink I linked to in the article show on SEMRush within 12 hours.

Its too much work for just 1 link... I would prefer Guest posting instead.

Good method, you can also add more than one link to index into the article as the main thing is to crawl the page through Google Search Console and "force" Googlebots to get there.
Gonna try adding a wall of links and then request indexing only for crawling all them.

You can index multiple links through this method, not just one.

Links are pretty much fundamental to indexing - they're what the web is built on from the beginning. I can attest that there are at least a few indexing services (not any that advertise on BHW) that automate this blogspot process as their business model.

Very helpful post, thanks to OP for generously sharing.

May I raise a doubt with the OP?

I am running a small Shopify store. Although there are only a few hundred organic traffic a month, I only need to submit the URL in GSC to apply for indexing. New pages are automatically indexed after a few hours, and this is true for any page (whether it is a category page, a product page, or a blog page), so it seems that as long as you apply for indexing in GSC, you can index quickly without going through these Troublesome steps?

There are many techniques to fast up your indexing status on your blog or site, Some work well (or) need more effects to achieve their needs,

But I really appreciated your interest to share your thoughts in this community.
