Indexing Services - What are they technically doing?

I would like to get a better understanding of what Indexing Services are doing in order to index a page on Google?

I see that pages are indexed, but can an Indexing Service potentially harm my website?

if you don't submit the URLs of your money sites there is ZERO risk of your sites being hurt / deindexed. But even if you submit your money site, it's still a low risk of having your site hurt. Have submitted all of my websites to indexers and nothing happened. But I don't think they're so effective anymore. I have no proof for this, just a hunch and my previous poor experience with them.

Thanks for your. I used paid index services and they seem to work. Atleast for higher quality links.

It's simple. They make sure the tier you are building them for stays indexed. There is no sense of a backlink if Google doesn't index it.
