How can you solve this issue? The robots.txt file is clear and allows crawling of everything. The pages were published in 2018, but it looks like they're no longer in the SERP. What else should I check?

Edit the past pages with new content and fixed tags and add some keywords cluster then try again .

What does it say in GSC, any errors or warnings? In general, you should be able to identify the problem via GSC. Depends on what kind of content you have but since they were published in 2018 updating content and improving quality wouldn't hurt. Submit it to google for indexing again.

Check out if there are any crawl errors in Google search console. Try resubmitting your sitemap and indexing again

make sure that your pages are well-linked internally. Pages that are isolated or have few internal links might be harder for search engines to discover.

Check Google Search Console for penalties, verify if pages are indexed, update your sitemap, and ensure content is relevant and high quality. Finally, check for any technical issues using tools like Screaming Frog.

Make sure there are no 'noindex' tags on your pages and check there are no penalties in GSC.

Look for any indexing errors or warnings in the "Coverage" report.

Сheck the “noindex” tags on those pages. If any were added by mistake, that would prevent indexing. Сheck for any manual actions in GSC, as penalties can cause pages to be dropped from the SERPs.

Check for “non index” tags on those pages, as they can prevent indexing if added by mistake. Also, review Google Search Console for any manual actions or penalties, as these can lead to pages being removed from search results.

There can be a few reasons. 1. Google might have reclassified the pages as outdated based on their ages. Try updating the content to make it more relevant to the current trends. 2. Check for broken links or technical errors on the pages that might be preventing the pages from being indexed correctly. 3. If you made significant changes to the website structure recently it might be affecting the crawling and indexing. Try using GSC (Google Search Console) to identify any other issues on the website.

To resolve this issue, check for issues like noindex tags, canonical tags, or thin content that might be preventing indexing, and consider updating or adding fresh content to the pages to improve their visibility in the SERP.

Ensure the sitemap is up-to-date and that the pages are being actively linked internally.
