I clicked on view live test. Here is the result
Then I click on "certain conditions", and this page opens

Click on the icon next to "indexing allowed?". What do you see?

Have pages of this website been indexed already or is it a new site? Did you inspect the homepage or an internal page?

Is this happening on one page or all of the new pages you are submitting?
Something on your website/server is preventing the Googlebot from crawling the page. That is literally the most common cause of "URL is unknown to Google".
Did you tweak anything recently?
Is there a redirection loop somewhere?

I checked robot.txt. there is no issue regarding this
Man I add 1 post per day.. Nah mate I didn't tweak anything recently... I requested indexing yesterday without any issue... But I don't know what's going on... But really frustrating...

Nice you found the issue. Now check your .htaccess file and find out what's causing the redirects.
Can you access the URL yourself without any redirects?
Did you recently install a new plug in?
Is your wp admin password secure?
Do you use a caching plug in? If yes, clear the cache and try again.

i think I've had it once... it's BS.
Another one I had when google changes canonical to a page which doesn't even exist.
Give it a few days.
Normally it happens when google is busy with "super updates".
PS: just my experience.
PSS: normally, google indexes my new pages within hours but during updates it becomes glitchy.

Yesterday's indexing request problem is now solved. This issue is probably from Google's side. As @praetserge said, it happens when google is busy with super updates.
