Hi guys,

I purchased 2 expired domains and they are both still in the sandbox phase. Google has indexed id say 30% of the articles on each site. Articles were indexed and then dropped off so for example If the site has 100 articles 70 of them were indexed, then over the last 2 months while still in the sandbox phase (nothing ranking at all) some of those indexed pages were dropped. After SEO is done on the site, link building ect will those pages be placed back in the index or do you think they will need to be relooked over to add more content ect? Thanks

It's possible more content will be needed.

But I would invite the crawl and see if the current version doesn't work afterall.

make sure that content on your website is relevant and well-optimized also alos, adding fresh content regualrly signals to search engines that your website is active, deserving of indexing, and potentially higher ranking.

It's normal for some of the indexed articles to be dropped. To increase the chances, improve the content, use internal links, submit an updated sitemap and acquire external backlinks. Remember, it may take time for the pages to be re-indexed, so be patient and monitor your site's performance.

Some people will recommend submitting through Google Search Console but I don't. Allow the indexation to go naturally. The more you try to expedite the process, the more it will be delayed. Just keep adding new posts and Google will index it it's own.

Thanks guys for all the replies. Means alot. I will do those things.
