I have a site that I'm trying to get my exact match anchor % down.

A little while ago I purchased a press release (all naked URL). I've noticed 99% of the links didn't index.

Is it worth trying to index these now?

Would they even index, due to being duplicate content?

    Thanks

It's depends on your distribution - what did you use? You could blast them with gsa or similar.

Having the same article/PR indexed isn't really beneficial for anyone, Google or otherwise. How long ago were your links created? For diversity, you might want to look into a diversity-type package with multiple link, types instead of just relying on one press release to dilute your anchors.

    Hi Bigstar20,

I am quite puzzled with your usage of duplicate contents for PRs,you would rather spin them with WordAi or rewrite them prior to publication.By doing so ,you will not have a problem and you can still index them by pinging it to Google.
Proceed indexing all the naked anchors as you have mentioned ,if that's not a problem to you but be cautious as there are high possibilities of a hit by a penguin since you are using duplicated contents.

Let me know how it worked for you.
    Thanks

By duplicate content he meant the fact, that one press release is distributed to dozens if not hundreds of sites.

And no, this is not a problem. Press releases are a weird animal and google disregards duplicate content there. How did you figure they aren't indexed? The small outlets, especially if it was some shit distribution, will not get indexed no matter what you will do. Only the big ones get the "pardon" for duplicate content.

I used the PauloPaul service from here on BHW: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/g...tes-press-release-writing-submissions.433997/

Thank you. I manually checked most of the links by searching site:url
See above for the service I used :) this was my first PR, so I'm not sure if they're small or large (no offense to them), but they seemed extremely professional and the PR itself was very high quality.
