indexing page title question

Let's say if in wordpress the slug /link for my page is www.mypage.com/mypage but the title of the page is titlepage. Would the indexed link show up on Google with the page title or the slug tag as the link title?

You should use title keyword for indexing the site.

In wordpress the "title/header" input at the top of the entry should naturally be the title right? Not the slug tag?

Title keyword along with meta description with that keyword mentioned at the beginning is quite relevant for results
