I know there's a lot of methods for Google and majority of people focus for higher ranking/url's indexing for it, but I've always wanted to know for yahoo..how difficult is it for Yahoo? I read Yahoo works mainly through onsite content and value content, while Google is mainly backlinks.

I'd like to be able to have a good amount of indexed links on Yahoo and Bing just as much as it is for Google. (Yahoo/Bing numbers are so much lower...)

I only get about 5 % of traffic from Yahoo/Bing so its nothing that I focus on, however, i have noticed its way easier to rank on Yahoo/Bing for new websites as opposed to G.

I have had a few sites up in the top 3 after a couple of scrapebox and forum profile blasts, while they have been languishing on page 3 - 4 on G.

I know you said that you want to focus on Yahoo etc as much as G, but if you do things right on G, chances are, the rest of the rankings on the other engines will follow...

Yahoo/Bing seem more susceptible to BH links, new sites and EMD's in my experience.

If it takes me 4 months to break pg1 on G, I can do it on Yahoo/Bing in a week.

Google is the big one for sure, although a lot of ppl use yahoo, i guess it depends on the demographic

Yeah I definitely like to focus on G, but maybe when I have difficulty indexing on there, and it does index on Y! or Bing well, it somehow brings in more traffic, so I guess I just need to focus more on the G man.

Its not difficult to get indexed on Yahoo or bing... Yahoo!, indeed, works on on page and backlinks. So, increase your backlink count to improve your visibility among search engines.

Why don't you try pinging it will definitely increase your traffic !
