Let's say I have a webpage with 2,000 links on it - all on the same page, with images, text, content, etc - but its 1 HUGE page.

If I point lots of links to it, and google indexes that 1 page - will it read those 2,000 links and index those as well?

The goal is to get 2,000 different pages indexed.

I know the shortcuts to getting a page indexed (squidoo, bookmarks, etc) - but we're talking about 2,000 DAMN PAGES - so will what I said above work??

unless I am mistaken, a link is a link. I don't see why the big G would care how big the page is and really, 2,000 links on one page, isn't insanely big.

They recommend 200 or less... they don't forbid it... I break that guideline all the time... It's really hard not to if you are designing for visitors and not search engines... Look at yahoo, amazon, ebay, cnn, slashdot, digg, etc... Seems to me that the more legitimate the site the more they break that rule.

Come to think of it... It's very hard to find a blog with less than 200 links on it these days.

This i tell you about backlinks let see how many google spider crawl to you first by your backlinks and how strong is your backlink like PR
the higher the PR the best spider crawl your page
