My important pages are not showing up when searching for ex.. site:xyz.com can anyone tell me what to do.

You can analyze those pages in the search console, If you found any issues fix that, and update the sitemap again,

Also, share the links on social media platforms.

You can use woorank or any website analysis software to find possible problems in your site. Are your pages contains robot.txt that is preventing google to index them?

Try this:

Copy all of the links you have that are not indexed in Google to a notepad. Log-in to Google Search console and select the property (your website) in which you're having these problems.

Click the "Inspect any link in "YourWebsiteNameHere" search bar on the top and paste in one of the links. It will tell you that your link isn't indexed, click "Request Indexing". Do it for each link.

Head over to Twitter & post your link there with a non-cheesy/sales caption. Do the same on Facebook but do it from a Facebook page made for your website.

Hope this helps.

Check using GSC to find whether google can crawl your site pages if not, then fix technical issues in robots.txt and htaccess. Also, check any other recent settings change affecting the indexing. If google is able to crawl, then maybe a penallty.

This is the robot.text setup on my site

User-agent: *
Disallow: /wp-admin/
Allow: /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

Is it ok ?

There could be a lot of aspects that you must need to check. Google usually takes 24hrs to even a month for indexing the page. Another, You can check the status in the Google Search Console to find a particular reason. I hope you can fix it. If everything is fine. Send a ping of the webpage to pig farm or any other relkated site.

You can use Google Index Api.I used it and it solved my index problem. Depending on the SEO status, index is added within 24 hours

Something is obviously not right on the site, and you need to work to find out what exactly. So, go to Search Console and search for any hint that you can get, they usually highlight at least some of the existing issues and give you some clues about what is going on so that you can start working on solving existing problems. Also, make sure that you manually check all links on your site to see if they are even submitted for indexing or not and if that's not the case just re-submit it and wait for a few days to see if there will be any improvements in the indexing process.
