indexing backlinks

Hi guys,

i'm new to this forum but i already read a lot of stuff in here which helped my quite well. But now i got a question which i couldn't clarify by searching and reading here.

I got page for which i created a linkpush. But google does not index my backlinks. I already social bookmared them. Some of my tier2 blogs are indexed. But only the blog address and not the single posts. Do i have to get the post with my link in it or is it enough if google crawled just my blog?

First of all, how do you know Google doesn't know about your backlinks? What I mean, how are you checking if they're counted or not, maybe you're using wrong tools...

I look if google knows the site where my backlink is placed. Is that wrong? If it is could you recommend a tool to check this?
